MP medicos asked to vacate hostels
Bhopal, May 22 (UNI) Taking a tough stand against the agitating medicos in Madhya Pradesh, the government today served them notices to immediately return to duty or vacate the hostels in two or three days.
Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital Dean Nirbhay Shrivastava said health services remained affected due to the strike, but emergency services were being maintained.
Madhya Pradesh Junior Doctors Association spokesman Amit Vyas said relay hunger strike by the medicos continued and junior doctors of Ayurved colleges also joined in the agitation since yesterday.
Meanwhile, pro-reservationist Fight for Right Association President Dr Chandrasekhar said the pro-reservationists would take out a rally here tomorrow.
Junior doctors at the government medical colleges at Indore, Gwalior, Rewa and Jabalpur were also on strike, reports received here said.
