More than 28000 two-wheeler riders prosecuted for traffic violatio
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) The Delhi Police has prosecuted a total of 28065 two-wheeler riders/pillion riders for committing several traffic offences such as riding without helmets and triplem riding.
While 24041 two-wheeler riders/pillion riders were prosecuted for not wearing helmets, as part of a special traffic enforcement drive launched by the police from April 24, 4024 have been booked for triple riding, police said.
The police said the drive would be intensified in the coming days.
