Malbro HPCL signs MoU to market LPG stoves
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Malbro Appliances today signed a Memorandum of Association (MoU) with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), to market fuel efficient and eco friendly Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) stoves in the country.
''The gas stoves will be under the brand name 'Advanta' and will be available in all the gas outlets of HPCL. It will be manufactured at Malbro's assembly unit in Parwanoo in Himachal Pradesh. With this stove the customer will be saving 68 per cent of the fuel as compared to ordinary gas stove,'' Malbro Appliances Managing Director Rajiv Malhotra said.
''All the components including rubber tubes and hoses are in-house products. We are currently developing a flame failure device, which will automatically switch off the gas in case of malfunctioning of the stoves,'' he added.
These gas stoves are certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
