Major fire breaks out in Latur

Latur, Maharashtra, May 22 : A major fire broke out in the godowns of Om Enterprises and Tina Oil Mill, the two leading vanaspati oil distributors, in Ganjgolai Market in the city here today.

The fire broke out at about 0500 hrs.

At least five fire engines from Latur and neighbouring Osmanabad towns have rushed to the spot and are busy trying to put the blaze under control. No casualty was reported in the mishap, fire brigade sources told UNI.

The exact cause of the fire and possible damage is yet to be ascertained, sources said.
