50 of marriage party injured as lorry turns turtle

Mysore, May 22 (UNI) As many as 50 people belonging to a marriage party, including the bridegroom, were injured when a lorry in which they were travelling overturned near Anchehalli in Mandya district of Karnataka today.

Police said the accident occurred when the lorry from Muddagere and Basaralu was proceeding to Kepphalli for the marriage ceremony.

While 31 of the injured were admitted to the government hospital at Basaralu village, the others were treated at a private hospital.
