Central government condemns Srinagar attack
New Delhi, May 21 : The Central government today condemned the militant attack at Srinagar, saying such attempts would not hamper the ongoing peace process in Jammu and Kashmir.
saying that the Union government was in constant touch with the Jammu and Kashmir government, Home Ministry sources here said that the Centre is monitoring the developing situation in the state.
At least four civilians and a policeman were killed while 30 others, including a senior Jammu and Kashmir police official, wounded in a ''fidayeen (suicide)'' attack on a Congress rally at Srinagar, in Jammu and Kashmir today.
