12 killed in AP road mishaps

Hyderabad, May 21 : Twelve persons were killed and eight injured in two road accidents in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said seven people, including two women, were killed and five injured when their car hit a bridge near Kollapally Village of Medak District.

While four persons died on the spot, three died en route to the hospital. The injured were admitted to the Gandhi Hospital here.

In the second incident, five people were killed and three injured when the van in which they were travelling collided head-on with a bus near Dasaripally Village of Nellore District.

The injured were shifted to a corporate hospital, they added.
