Rainfall occurred at a few places in the state
Bangalore, May 20 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Dharmasthala, Karkala, Udupi 1 each.
Maximum temperatures fell appreciably at most places over North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka, however above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 39.8 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until the Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts of Coastal Karnataka and Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Tumkur, Bangalore Rural and Bangalore Urban districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka and remaining districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely. Maximum temperature would be around 32 degree celsius.
