Plea to disqualify Yadav on profit issue

Bhopal, May 20 : The ruling BJP today petitioned Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar to initiate action on the office of profit issue against MPCC President and MLA Subhash Yadav for holding position in different cooperative bodies.

State BJP Cooperative Cell leader Vijay Tiwari, while releasing copies of the memorandum to reporters here, said Mr Yadav enjoyed various facilities from cooperative bodies attracting disqualification as legislator.

Mr Yadav is chairman of Bharat Krishak Samaj and Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture Produce and Processing Cooperative Society, Khargone, Mr Tiwari said,adding cost of the facilities along with interest should be recovered.

Copies of the memorandum had also been sent to the President, Prime Minister and Chief Election Commissioner, he added.

Mr Tiwari said Mr Yadav should tender his resignation on moral grounds.
