Junior engineer commits suicide

Mirzapur, May 20 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a junior engineer (JE), who allegedly committed suicide three days back in Katra Kotwali area of the district.

The body of Jahendra (32) was found hanging from the ceiling fan after neighbours informed the cops of foul smell emanating from the house in Nai Basti locality.

Police said he was employed as a JE at Patehra block in Mirzapur and was tense during last few days.

According to police, prima facie it seemed to be a suicide case, however, investigations were going on.
