JD(U) responsible for attack on scribes, policemen:Cong

Patna, May 20 : The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) today blamed the JD(U) for attack on scribes and policemen during pro-reservation procession of medicos here yesterday.

BPCC chief spokesman Prem Chandra Mishra alleged that the procession was led by a JD(U) leader who instigated the medicos to attack journalists and policemen.

Claimed criminal elements were present in the procession of medicos and created trouble at the instance of the JD(U) leaders.

Mr Mishra described the order of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for thorough probe into the incident as a mere ''eyewash.'' He demanded expulsion of the JD(U) leader and appropriate legal action against him if the Chief Minister was really serious the incident.
