Hussain case postponed to June 27
Bhopal, May 20 (UNI) A local court, which issued a summons on Wednesday last against noted painter M F Hussain and former Miss India Nafisa Ali on the 'objectionable' paintings of 'Mother India', has postponed the hearing to June 27.
The prosecution told the Judicial Magistrate Arvind Raghuvanshi yesterday the summons, routed through Mumbai Police Commissioner, could not be served yet.
A local advocate Rajkumar Pande has filed a petition on March 3 alleging the 'objectionable' painting had hurt the sentiments of Indians.
