Governor's move to return Anti Conversion Bill welcomed

Jaipur, May 20 : Governor Pratibha Patil's decision to return the Anti-Conversion Bill for reconsideration has received accolades from various quarters.

Poeple's Union for Civil Liberties' (PCUCL) state president Than Singh today said the Governor's decision to return the bill is praiseworthy as this Bill will end the Right to Freedom of Religion.

Congress leaders Dr B D Kalla, Dr Chandrabhan and other leaders have welcomed Mrs Patil for her farsightedness.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria told UNI today ''Probably today we will have meeting of the core committee group which includeS Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Law minister Ghyanshyam Tiwari, Rajendra Singh Rathore and advocate general to discuss any further action on the returning the bill. Nothing has been decided till now.''
