60 injured as lightning

Giridih, May 20 (UNI) At least 60 people were injured, 25 of them critically, when lightening struck at Navadih village under Jamua police station in Jharkhand's Giridih district.

Police today said the local people in the area were fishing in a pond last afternoon when the lightening struck them.

All the injured persons have been admitted to local hospital here.
