Vadodara tense as minors' bodies found in car
Vadodara, May 18 (UNI) Tension gripped the city's communally sensitive areas today following news about the recovery of charred bodies of two children from a car in Dabhoi town, 31 km from here.
The two children were last seen at a marriage procession in Dabhoi last Tuesday and were missing since then, the police said.
The irate public identified the car to be that of a local ayurvedic doctor and delted stones at his house, but the police claimed to have brought the situation under control with the deployment of additional forces.
Police said the car was found abandoned on the road.
Investigations are on to determine who put the bodies in the car.
Police said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
As the news of this incident spread to Vadodara city, tension gripped certain communally sensitives areas. The city had witnessed communal violence over the demolition of a dargah while widening a road in Fatehpura area early this month.
