Premachandran resigns his R S seat

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Mr N K Premachandran, member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party today, resigned from his Rajya Sabha membership to take up his job as a minister in CPI-M led coalition government in Kerala.

Deputy Chairman K Rehman Khan making the announcement said that Mr Premachandran's resignation was accepted with effect from May 17, 2006. The member's term was to end in July 2006.
