NTPC Chair to be created in Doon University

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd Chairman and Managing Director T Sankaralingam today presented a cheque of Rs three crore to Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari for setting up an "NTPC chair" in Doon University.

The contribution is for creating an "NTPC Chair" which will serve the Director of the "Centre of Excellence in Public Policy, Regulatory and Strategic Studies" in the School of Social Sciences, Doon University, Uttaranchal.

Mr N Ravi Shankar, Principal Secretary (Power), Uttaranchal Government, Mr Vijaypal Singh Sajwan, MLA, senior NTPC and state officials were present at the function held in Dehra Dun, a company release here said.
