Nine killed during camapign for Panchayat elections

Biharsharif, May 18 (UNI) At least nine people were gunned down during electioneering for Panchayat elections at Gawachack village of Sarmera block in Nalanda district today.

Police said supporters of a particular group attacked the people and fired indiscriminately when the latter were taking some refreshments outside a house in the village.

The reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.

A Massive manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.
