Mysore summer races from May 24

Mysore, May 18 (UNI) About 350 horses would race in the 14-day Mysore Summer Races beginning here from May 24.

Mysore Race Club Secretary K G Anantaraj Urs, in a release here, said a total stakes money of Rs 1.38 crore would be offered for the season.

Most of the trainers from Bangalore would be bringing their wards for the races, while Jockeys from all the racing centres in the country would exhibit the silks in what was expected to be a keenly-contested season.
