ILI invites application for specialised courses

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI )The Indian Law Institute, a premier centre of legal education in the country, today announced an increase in the number of seats in the Post Graduate Diploma courses in specialised subjects in its golden jubilee year.

A total of 640 seats would be offered for PG diploma courses in specialised subjects like, Administrative Law, Corporate Laws and Management, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Tax Law, International Trade Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, Securities&Banking Law, Labour Law and Alternative Dispute Redressal.

This is in addition to 30 seats for LLM Programme being offered in areas like International Trade Law, Shipping Maritime Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights and Judicial Administration, an ILI release said here today.

The Institute has also invited applications for admission to the LLM and PhD (Law) programmes.

Chief Justice of India, Mr Justice Y K Sabharwal, is the ex-officio President of the Institute, which has been granted Deemed University Status in 2004 and it has launched LLM and PhD Programme from 2005 onwards.
