HC reserves verdict on Bangar's bail plea

Chandigarh, May 18 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today reserved judgement on the plea for grant of anticipatory bail by former Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) chairman K C Bangar in a corruption case.

A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act had recently been registered by the state vigilance bureau on the basis of a complaint.

The petitioner alleged that the case was false and politically motivated.
