Deploy Army in the entire Doda and Udampur: NPP
Jammu, May 18: The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (NPP) has demanded deployment of the Army in Doda and Udhampur in light of the increased activities of militants in these districts.
Expressing deep concern over the grenade attack on a dharana by Village Defence Committee (VDC) members, they said there had been 55 fatalities and 70 people injured in the last 20 days, and also demamnded the supply of weapons to VDCs as soon as possible.
NPP general secretaries Daljit Singh and Anita Thakur visited the victims of Doda blasts, who are under treatment in the Medical College Hospital, Jammu today, to know their condition, the release added.
