New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) The Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena members today staged a walk out in the Lok Sabha in protest against a fresh incident in Doda in Jammu and Kashmir in which 15 Hindus were injured yesterday.

Raising the issue during zero hour, BJP Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra blamed the government for not giving a free hand to the army in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said though the government had assured to take effective measures during the discussion in Parliament on the killings of 35 people by terrorists in Doda last month, there seemed to be no let up in the terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mr Malhotra alleged that yesterday's grenade attack on a camp in Doda district was part of the "conspiracy to make the Hindus flee Kashmir." He demanded that the presence of the army in Kashmir be strengthened.

After Mr Malhotra completed his submission on the Doda incident, BJP member Yogi Aditya Nath and Shiv Sena member Chandrakant Khaire were on their feet demanding that they also be permitted to make a submission.

When Deputy Speaker C S Atwal switched over to the next item on the agenda, the agitated BJP and Shiv Sena members shouted slogans and staged a walk out.
