CYFI condemns clearance to 'The Da Vinci Code'

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) The Christian Youth Fellowship of India (CYFI) today strongly condemned the ''indifferent attitude of the Film Censor Board'' in clearing the controversial movie ''The Da Vinci Code.'' In a statement here, CYFI President Adam Raj Dekkapaty said they will oppose the screening of the movie in the state.

''We have also submitted memorandum to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Das Munsi, Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameswar Thakur and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy,'' he added.
