CRPF jawan among 25 wounded in Kashmir grenade attack
Srinagar, May 18 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan and 24 civilians were wounded, some of them seriously, when militants hurled a hand grenade on a security force patrol in south Kashmir's Pulwama district today, official sources said.
They said the militants hurled the grenade on the patrol of the CRPF's 95 battalion at Shaheed Park in Pulwama town at 1130 hrs.
The grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, resulting in injuries to a CRPF personnel and 24 civilians, the sources added.
They said the condition of some of the wounded was stated to be serious.
