Anti-quota protest on Sunday

Mumbai, May 18 (UNI) the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has decided to hold a protest march here on May 21 further intensifying its anti-quota stir and demanding judicial inquiry on last week's lathi charge on medical students protesting outside Raj Bhavan.

The protest march from Birla Matoshree auditorium to Azad Maidan will begin at 1000 hrs.

Addressing a press conference here today,convenor of the action committee Dr Ashish Tiwari said several organisations of professionals met during the day to chalk out their further course of action.

He said film personalities who feel strongly for the cause are likely to participate in the protest march. Dr Tiwari declined to give out any names. ''We are still talking to them'', he added.
