15 civilians wounded in Kashmir grenade attack
Srinagar, May 18 (UNI) At least 15 civilians were wounded, some of them seriously, when militants hurled a hand grenade on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol in south Kashmir's Pulwama distrcit today, police said.
However, unconfirmed reports said one cobbler died in the grenade explosion.
They said the militants hurled the grenade on the CRPF patrol at Shaheed Park in Pulwama town this morning.
The grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, resulting in injuries to at least 15 civilinas, the police added.
They said the condition of some of the wounded was stated to be critical.
