Woman naxal found dead

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, May 17 (UNI) The body of a woman Maoist was found near Bogolu village of Ardhaveedu mandal in Prakasham district today.

Police sources said here that an encounter took place between Maoists and special police on May 15 in Nallamala forest. But no casualities or injuries were reported on either side.

The deceased Maoist leader Uma belonged to Gannepalli village of Ardhaveedu mandal, police added.

Uma is, however, her party's pseudonym, police said.
