Two-day Rajiv Gandhi Mini Olympic meet gets underway

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) The two-day Rajiv Gandhi Mini Olympic event, organised at the behest of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MRCC) spokesman Sanjay Nirupam, was inaugurated today.

The inaugural function was attended among others by former India cricket captain Kapil Dev, former hockey Olympian Dhanraj Pillay, ace shooter Anjali Bhagwat, cine star Ameesha Patel and Bhayyuji Maharaj.

Various sports events are being organised during the two days which will be held in various parts of the city, Mr Nirupam said.
