SVU to offer new courses

Tirupati, May 17 (UNI) The Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) has restored its normal schedule of monitoring the admission process and reopening of the colleges in June, said Vice-Chancellore S Jayarama Reddy here today.

Addressing a gathering here he said, seven post-graduate courses-Mass Communication and Journalism, Gandhian Studies, Cine and Television Arts, Bio- Informatics, Remote Sensing and Disaster Management and Nanomaterials and Technologies - would be offered from the academic year 2006-07.

The SVU would avail the assistance of laureates and persons of eminence to interact with the students to carryout high level research, he said.
