Stolen panchaloha idols found in burial ground

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, May 17 (UNI) Two panchaloha idols of Sridevi and Chakraperumal stolen from the Sri Venkateswaraswamy Temple in Talluru Village, have been recovered from a burial ground.

Following a tip off, police found the idols in a burial ground located between Rajanagaram and Talluru.

The 16th century idols were stolen on May 15 night. Though there were seven idols kept in the temple premises, the thieves picked the two, police said.
