Prasad business incubator inaugurates

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Union Minister for Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries Mahabir Prasad today inaugurated the NSIC Technology Business Incubator at the NSIC Technical Service Centre Complex here.

NSIC has established Technology Business Incubator in the IT sector with an objective to facilitate sustainable entrepreneurship development, encouraging commercialisation of R and D outputs into commercial ventures and networking between R and D and industry.

The Technology Business Incubator will help clients and sales partners, who are interested in co-operation with Researcher Group and Start Ups at the Incubator, Mr Prasad said.

The project will also help industrial enterprises, universities and private training institutions, who are interested in transferring their know-how within the qualifying offers of the Incubator, he added.

The scheme is aimed at creating a sustainable entrepreneurship development in the area of ICT especially first generation entrepreneurs and nurturing the innovative ideas to commercially viable business propositions.
