Pakistani national detained

Visakhapatnam, May 17 : The Police has detaind a 40-year-old Pakistani on a foreign ship in the Harbour here after being requested by ship officials who alleged he was on board without proper authorisation.

According to crew member M V Nila, th bulk cargo carrier arrived here last night with the Pakistani national citizen Liquat Ali, who entered the ship at an Indonesian port without authorisation.

Police said Ali had entered the ship in search of a job.

The ship authorities noticed him after the ship left the port. The ship was berthed in the harbour, and would leave for China on May 20.
