Dont disturb developmental activities: Manipur CM

Churachandpur, May 17 : Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh has appealed the militant outfits not to disturb developmental activities by the state government.

The Chief Minister, after inaugurating a bridge over Khuga river connecting Khomawl and Saidan villages in this district yesterday, said the state government was prepared to hold talks with militant organisations.

He further said his government would not oppose any move to suspend operations of any outfit to bring peace.

He said they were interfering in works taken up at various places. He also assured that the Imphal-Churachandpur road would be repaired soon.
