Jharkhand cabinet hikes da ofits employees by 3 per cent
Ranchi, May 17 (UNI) The Jharkand government today decided to hike the dearness allownaces of the state government employees by three per cent to 24 with retrospective effect from January one this year.
The cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Arjun Munda approved of the hike, a senior official told reporters after the meeting.
Among other inportant issues, the cabinet also decided to give direct employment to educated 'Adim Jati' (primitive class) youths, the official said adding the Kayali community in Dumka region had been included in the OBC category.
