Four administered oath as Information Commissioners

Chandigarh, May 17 (UNI) Punjab Governor, Gen (Retd) S F Rodrigues today administered the oath of office to Mrs Rupan Deol Bajaj, Mr P K Verma, Mr R K Gupta and Mr Surinder Singh, as members of the state Information Commission, at a brief ceremony at Punjab Raj Bhavan.

State Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Chief Information Commissioner Rajan Kashyap, Chief Secretary K R Lakhanpal and other senior civil and police officers were present on the occasion.

Mrs Bajaj and Mr Verma are both retired IAS officers while Mr R P Gupta is a retired IPS officer and Mr Surinder Singh is a retired Chief Engineer.
