Delhi bound train engine develops technical snag

Phagwara, May 17 (UNI) Traffic on the Down rail track on the Amritsar-Jalandhar section remained suspended for about an hour this morning when the engine of the 2450 DN Amritsar-Delhi Superfast Express developed a technical snag.

Railway sources here said the train remained stranded at Kartarpur railway station. Railway engineers from Jalandhar were summoned to rectify the snag.

The train engine was again rechecked at Jalandhar, which further deyaled the train.
