Coast Guard to open Beypore Station on May 25
Kozhikode, May 17 (UNI) Aimed at undetaking strict reconnaissance along the northern shores of Kerala, the Indian Coast Guard is all set to open a separate station at Beypore near here on May 25.
Coast Guard Director Prabhakaran Paleri would inaugurate the station, built at a 4.3 landscape, said an official release today.
Beypore station would be the third in Kerala, apart from the Kochi and Vizhijam centres and 21 in the country, it said.
Two ships, Kasturba Gandhi and Durgabai Deshmukh, would be reaching Bepore Port on May 21 to undertake advertisement campaign prior to the inaugural function, the release added.
