Case against Vir Kunwar Singh University: VC
Patna, May 17 (UNI) A case case was filed today against four people, including Vice-Chancellor (VC) and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Vir Kunwar Singh University, before the special vigilance judge of Patna Ram Niwas Prasad.
After hearing the complaint petition, the designated judge directed the Police Superintendent of Ara to probe the matter and submit a report in the court.
The case was filed by the 'Pramukh' of Sasaram block of Rohtas district Bechu Singh under the charges of the various sections of Indian Penal Code(IPC) and Prevention of Corruption Act. V C Iswar Chandra Kumar, pro-VC Deo Muni Prasad, financial advisor R N Singh and law assistant Ajay Kant Jha of the university were made accused in the case.
According to the complaint petition, all the accused had allegedly committed financial irregularities and forgery by abusing their official positions under a criminal consepiracy for their own benefit.
