Capgemini engages Cisco's network management solutions
New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Capgemini India, the Indian arm of Paris-based IT services and consulting company, today announced that it has deployed Cisco system's switching and routing solutions.
Capgemini has also installed IP telephony infrastructure and the Intrusion Prevention System from Cisco's portfolio of Advanced Technologies, for meeting their business needs.
''Capgemini India required network infrastructure and deployed Cisco's Catalyst switches and industry-leading 3700 and 2600 Routers to our performance and service requirements, in addition to adopting Cisco's Network Management solutions for managing the LAN infrastructure.
Capgemini also installed IP telephony infrastructure and the Intrusion Prevention System from Cisco's portfolio of Advanced Technologies, for meeting their business needs,'' a company statement said here.
''Cisco continues to provide network solutions to Capgemini to enable us to reduce costs and leverage its capacity and competencies across geographies, resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction,'' Capgemini Consulting India Christophe Vice President and Financial Controller Du Vignaux said. .
Capgemini employs about 61,000 people worldwide and reported global revenues of 6,954 million euros in 2005 .
