BJP legislator suspended from party

Jaipur, May 17 (UNI) A BJP legislator has been suspended from the primary membership of the party for his alleged involvement in land encroachment in Ajmer.

BJP legislator Gopal Dhobi has been found guilty of the charges leveled against him and hence the three-member inquiry team recommended immediate disciplinary action against him.

State BJP president Mahesh Sharma took the decision of suspending Dhobi after he went through the inquiry report.

BJP spokesman Kailash Bhatt said Mr Sharma has also forwarded the matter to party's parliamentary board for consideration.
