UAE exchange opens office in Kannur

Kannur, Kerala, May 16 (UNI) UAE exchange, one of the largest and fastest growing money transfer and money exchange houses in India, opened its regional office in North Kerala here today.

At a press conference here, George Antony, the Country Manager, said this was the second regional office in the state after Thrissur, covering between Palakkad and Kasaragod.

UAE exchange is planning to have all their branches as a one stop financial shopping mall for all services like money transfers and exchange cash against cards, mutual funds, stock trading, insurance, AIR tickets, tours, and courier service, Mr George said.

The company also has a strong compliance department which manages and monitor adherence to the regulatory guidance, including KYC norms, he said.

Currently the house offers remittance like ''Xpress Money, Money gram, first remit and in money changing of purchase and sale of all foreign currency and cheques. It is one of the accredited agents for air tickets and associated with Bajaj Allianz for insurance, he added.
