Thai authorities to censor film version of Da Vinci Code
Bangkok, May 16 (UNI) Thai authorities today decided to snip the final 10 minutes of the film ''the Da Vinci Code'' based on the controversial record selling book of that name.
The Police Censorship Committee also instructed the movie to be screened in the country with a notice before the opening credits that it is based on a work of fiction and not a real story.
Acting on a petition submitted by Christian groups, the Censor authorities took this step. A special screening of the movie was arranged today for the censors and representatives of the Christian groups.
