Sugar prices driftes lower on weak demand
Navi Mumbai, May 16 (UNI) Sugar prices drifted lower on weak demand, traders at the sugar market today said.
The rates of small and medium grades fell by Rs seven each per quintal on thin buying support.
The rates of ex-mill small and medium grades declined by Rs 18 and Rs ten per quintal respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure.
Following were the sugar spot rates per quintal: Small grade Rs 1,923/1,965, medium grade Rs 1,958/2,000.
Ex-mill small grade Rs 1,900/1,925 and medium grade Rs 1,925/1,955.
