Sony Ericsson introduces mobile music solution

Mumbai, May 16: Sony Ericsson today announced the expansion of its flagship Walkman phone range with the launch of four stellar products, the dedicated music phone W950i, the W810i, the sleek W700i and the first clamshell Walkman phone W300i.

The W950i launch follows close on the heels of the expansion of the Walkman phones portfolio earlier this month, with Sony Ericsson perceiving the relevance of this product in the market currently. To further enhance the mobile music experience for its customers, Sony Ericsson has also introduced the Music Desk Stand speakers MDS-70, MDS-60 and the portable speakers MPS-60.

These speakers are compatible with all Sony Ericsson music mobile phones that incorporate Fast port, the latest Walkman phones along with the W550i and W800i.

The latest range of Walkman phones and the speaker systems were showcased by popular veejay Teejay Siddhu in a function today.

Speaking at the launch, Sony Ericsson, India, general manager Sudhin Mathur said, ''Sony Ericsson aims to bring the concept of 'music on the go' to all consumers. In view of the overwhelming response to Sony Ericsson's flagship walkman phones, W800i and W550i last year, we are pleased to expand the Walkman range to address all segments of our consumers. We are delighted to announce the nation wide launch of the eagerly awaited W950i, an ultra stylish phone with 4GB onboard memory.'' He further said, ''These phones will revolutionse their music listening experience by redefining the way they listen and enjoy music. The W950i is more than a music phone, as email and web browsing at the speed of broadband plus a suit of high performance entertainment applications add to its capabilities.''
