Senegal name weakened squad for Korea friendly

DAKAR, May 16 (Reuters) Senegal have named a weakened squad for their trip to South Korea for a friendly match on May 23, their first under new coach Henryk Kasperczak.

The country's English-based strikers El Hadji Diouf, Diomansy Kamara and Henri Camara have been given time off at the end of the season, the Senegal Football Federation said.

The match serves as a warm-up for South Korea, who play in the World Cup finals in Germany next month.

It is a return to Seoul for Senegal, who were victors in the opening match of the 2002 finals but did not qualify for the 2006 event.
