Sachin to bat for Reynolds pens for next three years

Chennai, May 16 (UNI) Brand Sachin Tendulkar is alive and kicking and the master-blaster has signed a three-year deal with Reynolds Pens indicating that ads and endorsement, unlike runs of late, have not dried for India's most recognisable sportsperson.

The deal signed yesterday has come close on the heels of a contract with Iconix, reportedly to the tune of 180 crores.

Under the latest arrangement with G M Pens and Instruments Ltd, the makers of Reynolds range of writing instruments in India, Sachin will exclusively promote the products as a brand ambassador for next three years.

Earlier, Sachin had batted for giants like Coca Cola, Adidas and Fiat among others.

Sachin also unveiled new range of products by Reynolds here last night.

Asked if he would pen down his experience in memoirs now that he was promoting pens, Sachin said, ''It will happen at one stage in my life. I already have the habit of writing a diary of what I have been doing and what I ought to do to get better in my game.'' UNI XC DH YA HS1920
