Rajkhowa Commission takes statements on rape issue

Imphal, May 16 (UNI) The Justice Rajkhowa Commission, inquiring into the alleged rape of 21 women in Churachandpur district by suspected militants, will be taking statements of the victims till tomorrow.

The Commission has been taking statements from the rape victims for last few weeks.

The Human Rights Alert (HARA), an NGO, has mooted the idea of taking statements of the militants through International Committee of Red Cross.
