Police officer hurt by naxal blasts

Jagdalpur, May 16 (UNI) A police superintendent and his driver were slightly injured after naxals triggered three blasts today near Rainar village about 150 km from Chhattisgarh's Bastar district headquarters, police said.

Narayanpur's SP Sundarraj B and the driver were hospitalised at Narayanpur.

Bastar's Collector Vinay Srivastava and some other officials had accompanied the victims to a certain location as part of a statewide 'Gram Suraaj' campaign.
