Meridian Mobile launches 'Fly' GSM phones

Mumbai, May 16: Meridian Mobile, part of the UK-based Meridian Group, launched its flagship brand of GSM phones 'Fly' in India today.

Emerging as a strong player in the Eastern and Central European market in last two years, models selected for the Indian market are at the cutting edge of features, design and incorporates the best of international styling.

The mobile phones are available between Rs 7,999 to Rs 9,999 with 1.3 mega-pixel cameras, bluetooth, video ringtones, MP3 player, video recorder and player and every other concievable feature.

''With the replacement market going stronger, there is potential for these feature-rich and stylish phones in the Indian market.

Also, we will provide superior after-sales service as an intrinsic part of our business model,'' said Meridian Mobile Indian Operations CEO Rajiv Khanna at the media briefing.
